Kodak has spent years developing a modern film movie camera and the result of all that work is the Super 8 Camera. Blending modern design and conveniences with analog filmmaking, this Super 8 Camera is a brilliant revival of the classic moviemaking aesthetic.

EXTENDED GATE / C MOUNT / DIGITAL EVF

This camera uses what Kodak calls Extended Gate Super 8, which captures 11% more image than traditional Super 8. Its native aspect ratio is 1:1.5, which is much easy to cut to our traditionally wider aspect ratios. It also has a C mount, allowing for use a variety of new or vintage lenses. We have a collection ourselves, including a 6-70mm f1.4 zoom. Also, this is the first S8 camera with a digital viewfinder and HDMI out, allowing for seeing TTL and sending video out to a teradek/video village. Also has a built in mic recording scratch audio to an SD card
